1. General Terms

These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale of handmade double reeds by Windholz Double Reeds, a brand of Mo.Du.Lar GmbH ("we," "us," or "our"), to customers through our online store. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

All products are handmade and each piece is unique. Minor variations in wood tone, finish, and dimensions are natural characteristics of handcrafted reeds and not considered defects.

2. Orders and Payment

Order Acceptance: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.

Pricing: All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include Swiss VAT at the applicable rate. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card and other methods as indicated at checkout. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

Order Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed and another when it ships.

3. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping within Switzerland: Orders are typically processed within 2-5 business days. Delivery times vary by location but generally take 3-5 business days within Switzerland.

Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight.

Packaging: All items are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. We use eco-friendly packaging materials whenever possible.

Delivery Issues: If your package is damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photos of the damage.

4. Returns and Refunds

Return Period: In accordance with Swiss consumer protection law, you have the right to return products within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason.

Condition: Products must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging.

Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact us at info@windholz.io. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective.

Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the original payment method.

Damaged or Defective Products: If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.

5. Product Information

All products are handmade from cane (Arundo donax, or Giant Reed). We strive to display colors and details as accurately as possible, but variations may occur due to monitor settings and the handmade nature of our products.

Material Variations: Natural cane materials may vary in grain, color intensity, and texture. These variations add character and are a desirable quality of our handcrafted double reeds.

Care Instructions: To maintain the quality and longevity of your double reeds, store them in a dry place away from extreme humidity and temperature changes. Regular maintenance and proper storage will ensure optimal performance and longevity.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

This limitation does not apply to liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, and content on this website are the property of Windholz Double Reeds and are protected by Swiss and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Swiss law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swiss courts.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
